It is essential that all students undertake 400 hours of Professional Placement, once they have completed and successfully passed all elements of the academic course.

 

The Professional Placement can be done during the course (after completion of 3 units)

Or

After the course has finished.

Through practical experience and training over 400 hours, Professional Placement aims to equip students with the skills, experience and understanding required to plan, deliver and assess the Montessori curriculum in both the Early Years and the Primary Years.

Sara Symons

Mont. Dip. Early Years, Adv. Dip.

SaraSara trained for her Early Childhood diploma at St Nicholas Centre and qualified in 1994. After working in early years in the Rainbow Montessori nurseries for 6 years, Sara later gained her Advanced Diploma in the Montessori Pedagogy 6-12. During this time she had become head teacher of the Rainbow Montessori Junior School. After working with the older age group for 7 years she was then given the opportunity to Join RMTC

Sara is currently the Head of Rainbow Montessori Training College, lecturing in the main subjects on the Early Childhood Course and Senior Course Tutor for both courses. Sara examines at Montessori Centre International as well as at RMTC.
